R.T. Bearings Ltd design and manufacture bearings for conveyors used in open cast mining systems, the cement industry, the chemical industry and various other areas where raw materials are transported. They are designed for heavy loads and medium speeds and because they operate in a very aggressive environment they are fitted with high performance sealing systems. This sealing system fulfils almost ideally the requirements for a seal in this environment, frictional losses and heat build up are insignificant while the leakage of lubrication and the penetration of dirt are prevented.
